Spring Break in Las Vegas...the boys had a baseball tournament in Las Vegas the past week. Jordan finished her last lesson with her choreographer and then we were off to St. George to visit Kathy for the night. After an enjoyable stay with Kathy, we packed the "Mothership" and was off to Las Vegas. Interesting place...we had a great hotel room off the strip. The boys had their own room with the team and we had another room. The first day the team explored and played at Circus Circus. Jordan also found a rink close by and practiced in the mornings. Traffic was horrible but the weather was amazing. The games were a blast to watch under the lights in such warm weather. Friday was a LONG day with three games starting at 1:00 pm and finally ending at 11:00 pm. One evening Jordan, Jason and I walked the strip for a grueling 3.5 hours. Our feet hurt, we smelled like cigarettes, and were sick of all the "trading" cards that were given to everyone! It was fun to see the lights, water show and even the lion's den at MGM. I know we missed much much more in Las Vegas but it's a crazy city!!! However, it was fun to be together and take a break from the snow. The sun felt so terrific, no one cared about getting burned! On our way home, we stayed another night with Kathy. The boys loved being at her house and eating all her food! Now the season for baseball begins this week, unfortunately, we woke up to over 5 inches of snow...
