Dinner in San Francisco

Wonderful evening in San Francisco! Missy and I loved breathing, seeing and feeling the FOG! It was beautiful to watch it roll in and hear the fog horns by the Bridge! Mom is with her dear friend Helen who we all adore.

More Fun in California

This was our last night with Kristi and her cute family! Kristi is expecting another girl in a couple of months. It was fun to meet her husband, Steele and her cute daughter Kaelyn!
Such a cute cuddly baby who can give you an evil eye!

Who has chubbier cheeks? Isla or Me??? This little one I didn't want to share! I figured since I couldn't eat much at the BBQ, I needed the distraction! Isla is Cubby's soon to be niece...therefore, I believe I can claim her too!

We also had a wonderful day at Stinson Beach!

The old pad on Via Herbosa! I wanted to jump out and take a photo on the bench but the door was open and they seemed busy. So much has changed but I still have the wonderful memories at 445 Via Herbosa!

Dad's Table

After Mom's retirement party, we took a trip to River Rock! Of course I lost more money but enjoyed the experience. I wondered what machines my Dad has used, what area he had walked to, people he had know...We gathered around his table, tucked in the corner of the restaurant. It's the table he would sit at and complete his paperwork. He loved sitting at the this table because he would watch who was coming and leaving the restaurant. My Dad's co workers remembered us. A few tears were shed when the chef told me his pictures are still in the back for all the employees to remember everyday. Customer's still come in and share my Dad's crazy stories. We all gathered around his table and ate...This is where I learned about SHRIMP POOP!Since I can no longer eat meat, dairy or bread, I have come to enjoy shrimp. As I ate my SHRIMP, I bite into a shrimp that had a gritty taste. I asked my lovely Aunt Sam what this black piece was...Cubby and Missy started to laugh and said, "Don't worry"...Fortunately, my Aunt told me how to de poop a shrimp! It was disgusting...shrimp will never be the same again! That is when I couldn't stop my eyes from tearing up...My Dad would be laughing with us. I almost could hear his laugh!

Mom's Retirement Party

I enjoyed listening to everyone speak about my Mom's strength and how much she will be missed. I am honored to be her daughter. It was a great party filled with kind gifts, wonderful friends who watched us grow up the past 18 years and sweet moments spending time with family. I took this photo of my mom when people were speaking about her. She defines Strength!
Meagan, Missy and I had a great time together.

Family...Just missing Jason! Gone for one day and he bought a flatscreen TV.

We just love our Cubby.

Notice, Missy is peeking...

July 4 in Idaho Falls with the Ladies

Missy and I took another road trip to Idaho Falls and stayed with Shelley Burdett. Kathy was spending some time with Shelley. As we were driving, we found an Indian Tribe casino...of course that reminded us of Dad and thought we should stop by on the way home and play a few slots. Instead the ladies wanted to join us! We had a blast...especially Kathy who won $203.00 on the penny machines, playing $5.00!
Since Kathy won big, she treated us to lunch. We ate at a cute restaurant called The Hard Hat.

We later chased the fireworks! Shelley's neighbor thought we could see the fireworks from her backyard. We sat there with the music ready and saw nothing! So we shoved everyone in the car and Shelley became our Firework Chaser! She did a great job, we found an empty lot and had a great view. Fantastic ladies! We had a sweet time playing cards and enjoying each others company.
