Ouch!
Second night of the ice show...it didn't go as planned!
De and Jordan before she was attacked by a blade.
De and Jordan before she was attacked by a blade.
During Jordan's group number, her and another skater collided in a corner. The other skaters blade attacked Jordan's leg and caused a little wound. Not many noticed the collision since it was in the corner. She finished the program and then the swelling started. She barely made it off the ice. Her thigh has the slice marks from both edges of the blade and the toe pick. The swelling was incredible!

Purple...
This summer I will start collecting purple shirts, sweatshirts, blankets and scarfs...It's strange to find any other color except Red and White but this fall, I will be wearing purple! Mo will also be wearing more purple! After he took off his pads, we noticed he was wearing a Utah shirt. My hand is covering the logo...
Mo had his Spring Scrimmage Game at Weber State University. It's a beautiful school nestled along the earthquake fault behind the bleachers in this photo. We just felt a 5.0 earthquake last week. It was centered along that fault line. Jason, Tanner and I drove up to Weber to watch our Mo play and wear PURPLE!

He had a great game! Of course, while I was in the restroom, Mo picked up a fumble and scored a touchdown. I will no longer drink water during the games!!!
Just a beautiful day soaking up the sun and watching one of our favorite boys play ball! Tanner heads to his summer football camp in June while I start working with a new crew of Utah players next month. This fall will be a little busy but oh such a lucky woman to attend so many football games! I love my life...

Fernando Valenzuela
My Dad loved this man. He was a famous LA Dodger Baseball pitcher. I remember watching games with my Dad when he would pitch and going to Candlestick Ball Park when the Dodgers played the Giants. I also remember when fans thought my Dad was Fernando when he wore his Dodger Blue jacket. My sweet Dad even signed a few baseballs with his name.
Dad would have loved seeing this photo. Fernando was being honored in LA for his accomplishments as a pro baseball player. The Dodgers also finally won their first game of the season.
Jason and I are going to a Dodger's game in LA on May 1st (my birthday).
I miss my Dad...
I miss him a lot!

Easter Fun
It was nice to sleep in! The kids received a simple, small basket of MY favorite candy to share with me, lotion, bubbles (bubbles are for all ages) and an Easter Egg with note saying "more to come at the Easter Egg Hunt..."
Jason and I hid 32 eggs, Mo had a difficult time finding THREE! He noticed Jordan had some eggs stashed in her pockets. Mo tried to shake them out!!!
Cute Jasmine loving every minute!

Cute Jasmine loving every minute!
Each egg had either a $1.00 or a question to answer. Some questions led to a long discussion!
What is your favorite song? Sing It.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
Who is your hero and Why?
Why do we celebrate Easter?
What is the Atonement?
What is your favorite dance move? Show us.
What are two things you are grateful for?
What is the Resurrection?
What is the Crucifixion?
After they answered the questions, they could pick a gift card from the basket...however the gift card may be for someone else!

Elderly Eyes
Last year the school told me Jordan should have her eyes checked. A few months ago the doctor suggested I take her to get her eyes checked too. Finally, we squeeze in an appointment to have her eyes checked. The eye doctor came out and said, "She has a hard time making her eyes focus." Ummm, I could have told him that. All my children have a hard time focusing. He then dilated her eyes and told me, "She is far sighted. To the degree of what I see in the elderly."We ordered new glasses.
Perhaps this explains why her room is so messy and she leaves dirty clothes in the bathroom!!!
