Cubby Love

I love my brother!
We received the official "save the date" card. Cubby and Meagan are getting married August 28, 2010. It was strange to read the announcement stating "Meagan and Kristopher"...Who is Kristopher??? The "Save the Date" card was more of a "Reminder" card. I have 6 months to get into shape...I am a bridesmaid!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes!!!

Jason has parted ways and moved on to bigger and better things! Meet Xarios, the new company Jason is working for. We are EXCITED about the changes. Jason will now work from home with some traveling. He has spent the first week in Phoenix and will join us in California to celebrate Chris and Missy's marriage. So far, we LOVE how Xarios treats their employees...seriously, LOVE IT!!!

Our Weekends...

Jason and I are experiencing a wonderful, busy, crazy time in our life. We are so blessed to be surrounded by great young adults. Football has taken a new meaning in our household. It's an incredible feeling to be surrounded by football talk, challenges of college and living away from home. It's also a sight to see the amount of food we go through over a weekend but most importantly the friendships and love that has developed with a few of these fine young men. Jason and I have enjoyed being a second home to some of the football players and their friends. They have taught us about gratitude, sacrifice and football! This past weekend, DeShawn (in the photo with me) stopped by. He played for Utah and has since graduated and working with teenagers in Las Vegas. This is an exciting time for many of the seniors as they get ready for Pro Days in March. Hopefully some will move on to the NFL. Meanwhile, my sweet Mo still has a few more years to hang out at our house!!! I love Fridays because Taylor, Tanner and Jordan usually contact me throughout the day wanting to know when Mo arrives. Mo loves Friday's because he knows he has his second family waiting for him to come home to!

Happy 19th Birthday!

I was 19 years old when I gave birth to Taylor and now he is 19 years old!
This is one of my favorite photos of Jason and Taylor. He was just a few days old. We found out he had a few fractures in his hips and it was a tender time for our family facing the next generation of brittle bones. We were managers of an apartment complex and Jason finished mowing the lawns and came in to nap with Taylor. Now all grown up, he is doing so well! Attending his second semester at Salt Lake Community College, working hard at OrthoDevelopment and taking care of his sweet girlfriend and his mini horse-dog, Bo. I am very proud of him and love this man very much! Happy Birthday!
