On Sunday, Jordan placed 1st place in her short program! It was beautiful, clean, confident skating. One of my favorite moments was watching her skate her short program. Jordan was so excited! The next day she competed her long program and was the last skater of the entire event. (A very long wait.) She placed 4th in her freeskate with another clean performance and high GOE scores. Combining scores from her short and long she finished 3rd overall and will advance to the Pacific Coast Sectional in November at Culver City, California. The photo above is a new recognition program USFS organizes. All the skaters who receive 2's in their GOE's for any element is posted and receives recognition. She had the most in her group!

Woo hoo, way to go, Jordan!!!! On the special achievements!! Holy cow!!! That's almost every element, isn't it???? ;0) Dang, girl!!!! We just want a sheet with no negatives. hahahaha.
I have had a few emotional weeks, for whatever reason/s, so maybe that's part of it, but for some reason seeing that made me tear up. I just feel like I've been a fan for so long, it's so amazing to watch her practice and then see her recognized for her hard work. Wow, wow, wow. Of course, it makes it even more special to know that, as a fan, one of my fave skaters has such an amazing and supportive mom to us! Can't wait to see you all soon!
