Second night of the ice show...it didn't go as planned!
De and Jordan before she was attacked by a blade.
During Jordan's group number, her and another skater collided in a corner. The other skaters blade attacked Jordan's leg and caused a little wound. Not many noticed the collision since it was in the corner. She finished the program and then the swelling started. She barely made it off the ice. Her thigh has the slice marks from both edges of the blade and the toe pick. The swelling was incredible!
We spent the rest of the evening at the clinic. No broken bones but a nice size blood clot. She can't skate for 10 days and is attached to the ice unit.
This is the next day. The swelling has started to decrease.
Monday afternoonShe is taking it very well and starting to move her knee around.
